There are what I call focus coaches; these include lifestyle coaches, personal coaches, business coaches, attitude coaches, financial coaches, leadership coaches, executive coaches, career coaches, team coaches, and many, many, more.

In my early days as a guide and mentor, I worked with many focus coaches. I saw that the very narrow approach to one aspect of their client's needs allowed them to focus on, and deliver to, a few key elements. In some cases this helped significantly, but much was lost due to that very focus.

It was like that old expression, "You can't see the forest for the trees!" Online success is all about that forest. If you get focused too closely in on just a few targeted areas, the trees closest to you, you will never get the whole picture (the forest).

For most people getting online with an existing business, or developing a first time online business, or just expanding the online business they already have, being online presents a mix of issues accross many diciplines and niches.

Even a good coach, in fact a great coach, who focuses on a narrow spectrum of those issues will not be able to deliver fully satisfactory results. It is only with a holistic approach to mindset, business, and tech, that the process is complete. The whole truly is greater than the sum of its individual parts.

I tend not to use the words coach, or coaching, in reference to myself. These words have long been taken by those who generally have a single focus. They are not bad coaches. And if a single aspect of your personal or business life needs adjustment, then they can be a wonderful choice.
